I've heard it said . . . that if you are walking on a lonely road and happened upon a fence along the road and you see a turtle . . . upside down on the top of one of the posts . . . you will conclude . . . someone put it there! While the capabilities of a turtle might get it up a vertical post, being upside down . . . that's an intentional action from someone else.
The Bible tells us, "You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts." 2 Corinthians 3:2-3, NIV. In this passage, Paul shares the reality of a human life that is committed to the Master Jesus. They are an open letter for all to read.
When someone meets you for the first time, they are reading the letter of your life and realizing, "Someone put you there!" That someone who put "put you there" is God and the mighty plans He has in store for you. We are reminded in Scripture, " 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' " Jeremiah 29:11, NIV.
This Sabbath, Pastor Daniels will share a Biblical thought entitled, The Post. What is it going to be about? What can you take home as a transformative lesson from Scripture? You will have to wait and see! However, for now, you can know that your life is being read, watch, and observed by many. So, be that letter and realize that God has a great plan for your life!
So, until the next time, this is Pastor Tello reminding you that thoughts do change lives!
