On April 1, 2023, I shared with you (at the Milton church) the significance of the word "LORD" in the book of Exodus. We learned that it first appeared in Exodus 3:2, "and the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed."

We saw a similar pattern in the book of Genesis chapter 1 and 2. There we learned what LORD in Hebrew meant. It means intimate and personal. God is an intimate and personal God when He interacts with His children. In speaking to the preacher for today...I've learned that LORD has another meaning I was not aware of. A meaning that is ...incredibly awesome!

As you listen to the preacher for today (at the Milton church), remember these words, "The Lord loves you, but He wants you to love Him, to meditate upon Him. Reflect upon the purity, the loveliness of His character, and be like Him..." 4LtMs, Lt 39, 1886, par 8. May this Sabbath day be a day where you can mediate, reflect, and live the statement above.

When I was a boy, my mother used to encourage me to, "agárrate de su Manto..." This meads to hold onto the mantle of Christ. Hold on to Him. Love Him. Make Him the center of my life. Make Him my King. Now as an adult, I still hold that encouragement to heart. Living my life to love, mediate, and reflect on the Master Jesus.

The blessing of a personal intimate God is only fully experienced when you make the choice to have the Master abide with you and you in Him. Take the time to make that a reality today! So until the next time, this is Pastor Tello reminding you that thoughts do change lives!
