God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - terms and phrases that in recent years have become controversial. Why? Many reasons, but one that stands out is the following . . . the Trinity is not Biblical. Is the theological concept of a Father, Son, and Holy Spirit not found in Holy Writ? Has the Christian church been believing a fallacious doctrine of evil?
I propose a Biblical investigation. At the very least, a discovery of what the Bible says about a Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. If we are able to find the three of Them in Scripture, we might be able to answer conundrums that many have proposed. While the study of God and His infinite wisdom is a limited subject for us, there is an abundance of evidence in Scripture about God and what we are to believe.
This Sabbath we will investigate the Trinity. We will seek to understand what God says about Himself and how the equality within the Godhead brings to light a salvational aspect that we cannot live without. In fact, if you dismantle the concept of the Trinity, you remove a beautiful Biblical teaching that gives hope to our world . . . especially now that we are all living in a divided world.
May we, this Sabbath, come to understand a perfect example of unity. May we, this Sabbath, understand that salvation is not just a subject that benefits man, but also God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. May we, this Sabbath, fall in love with God in ways we have only dreamt of doing. Listen, take notes, and allow the Word of God to speak to your heart!
So, until the next time, this is Pastor Tello reminding you that thoughts do changes lives!
